I thot for sure the 3rd "legend" was going to be that cliche of the MC becoming an accidental unknown legend because reasons. and they are like "oh, i guess people noticed my magic practice"

New Game Plus, when you're getting back at all of the hidden bosses for making you burn through your rare healing items.

... Andddd he is now going to make enemy with the king, of course, why am I not surprise at this logic?

...poor demons...
but if even after he killed the grinder who was as strong as the Great Demons and a fortress with a bunch of soldiers and mages , the country didn´t care at all, what the point in this? fame between the commoners?

Great chapter, but the mc really needs to check his logic. Generally speaking being known as powerful alone won’t stop people from trying to attack you. In fact that has a good chance to increase the number of idiots that want to defeat you for the prestige. The power crazed nobles and kings in stories like these will still want to do anything to make you there’s. Also, I can EASILY see this completely backfiring and the king/whole country fearing him for his power (and the favt he doesn’t believe in their goddess/has twins) and do anything to eliminate him; fear often leads to people forming a mob and doing the worst. I mean within this series alone, the female heroine proved herself to be stupid strong and defeated everyone before the mc, but that only made the last antagonist want to get revenge and go against her more. Really, the MC shouldn’t be looking to make a quick name for himself. Fear might deter people at first, but ultimately it just means that everyone will go along when anyone offers a plan to kill him. He should be increasing his allie and friends he can trust and would be willing to help him keep the twins safe (like his old party). He should work on creating a network and establishing a respectful and friendly air around him; get people to see that the twins are just harmless kids, so that if an antagonist ever comes knocking, he has an army of his own.

@TNT261 but would not really make sense. why would those people who want to fight the person who killed the 3 op monsters not just try to go for the monsters themselves. only makes sense if the strong people able to beat them dont give a fuck about proving their strength and whatnot.

The Bell Seeker was probably someone's pet "cat". The former owner always used a bell to ring when it was dinnertime, and when the owner died it escaped back to the wild and grew up. Now everytime it hears a bell it remembers the owner feeding it and comes to check if it's them.

@randomname There is a difference in believing you can take down a human being compared to taking down a wild animal. Think of it like this: 10 armed cops versus a serial killer or 10 armed cops versus a hungry lioness escaped from the zoo. The cops will go after the killer because they're a human like them and therefore the cops feel like they have a chance to win even if it gets down to one on one.

The 10 cops aren't going to feel the same when going up against the lioness. They can't predict what it's going to do, and one on one they have no chance. So they're gonna back off and place their own lives above the need to stop the lioness.

@randomname
@TNT261

He is a little bit desperate at this point... It's not a good way just keep earning "respect" to keep away the people, because at least SOME people confident of his strength will want your "respect" in a way like defeating you.

The best way to me for protecting someone in a harsh country would be leaving that country unless you have someone or something to do in it.

@randomname
It's simple, because he is strong and not affiliated with any known group, party, or government. He is a threat that could topple the government on a whim. They say you should let sleeping dogs lie, but they've already provoked this feral dog.

On a side note, I wonder when it will hit him that he just removed all the shackles that were holding the country back. Now that they dont have to worry as much about random encounters with over powered beasts. They can focus on getting rid of the last threat to their rule... him.

@HDMI1 your comparison is a little bit flawed.
because in this case the "serial killer" is known to have beaten the lioness alone. so it makes not exactly sense, that the cops who are scared about the lioness arent scared about the guy who beat the lioness.
