Actually, in addition to Kinoko no Yama chocolates, there is also its rival, Takenoko no Sato chocolates.
Both are by Meiji, and the chapter reference combines both of them (shape of Takenoko/bamboo + name of "no Yama").

@justforthelulz Ah, thanks for that! I tend to forget about Takenoko no Sato since my area typically only sells Kinoko no Yama instead of them both, and they're in essence the same thing even if others say they taste differently

IDK what they mean by eating bamboo shoots sashimi/raw since bamboo shoots are poisonous if you eat them raw. Living on the edge, maybe?
