Senryuu Shoujo - Vol. 12 Ch. 158 - The sprout of love 1

The extraordinarily wrong time to be doing this plot but hey, the friend had some really good advice.

Ugh! Another author who can't think for himself but falls back on terrible clichés. Just as soon as the main characters become a couple, why not toss in yet another rival to add filler material and extend the franchise. Shall we take a poll and try to guess how many tedious chapters this arc will take, or will it consume the whole of the next volume?

Don't worry. This one will be pretty quick and not that drama impact like Komichi case.
This will soon end anyway. Not many chapters left.

Iori's a very straightforward person. I think she'll just confess to get the feeling out of her chest, but fully accepts that nothing will come from it beyond catharsis.

I'm hoping all that happens is her yelling it her feelings out, Eiji getting completely flabbergasted, Nanako getting scared out of her wits, and Iori running off with a smile now that she feels lighter. No breaking down in tears. We've had enough of that already. Not that I had a problem with the past incidents.

Personally, I think people who insist on confessing to someone who they know already has a significant other are among the worst sorts of inconsiderate, selfish and self-centered individuals. They think only of themselves and do not consider or care what adverse affects their selfish actions might cause to the object of their affection ("Eiji getting completely flabbergasted"), or to the significant other ("Nanako getting scared out of her wits"). They cause others to suffer emotional pain and distress just so they can feel good that they were able to express their feelings ("Iori running off with a smile now that she feels lighter"). What a bunch of hogwash.

I think she's going to confirm that she doesn't want to confess to him, not going to actually confess to him. This author has already cast off certain cliches (remember Komachi and Koto-nee?)

So, they're human beings.
They think only of themselves and do not consider or care what adverse affects their selfish actions might cause to the object of their affection ("Eiji getting completely flabbergasted"), or to the significant other ("Nanako getting scared out of her wits").
So, still human.
They cause others to suffer emotional pain and distress just so they can feel good that they were able to express their feelings ("Iori running off with a smile now that she feels lighter").
Homo sapiens.
What a bunch of hogwash.
Welcome to humanity, enjoy your stay if you can. If not, well, it happens.
