@Akikako It's actually true, surprisingly. Studies shown that excessive masturbation does not physically harm you in any way. It can only leave a negative impact on your everyday life (relationships, works, etc.)

Aside that, kudos to the author for actually researching. All sensei's knowledge in previous chapters are also correct.
@_asstronaut_ "It can only leave a negative impact on your everyday life (relationships, works, etc.)"
and you call that "only"? Plus, to make sperm the body use a lot of energy and after a lot of round you feel like shit, so it's not true that it's harmless.
And it makes you became dependent upon it, like all the other pleasure, food for example, but it different because you have practically unlimited source of pleasure from it (you can masturbate all the number of time you want).
The masturbation need to keep in check strictly and none is the best.
No responsible adult would say that "masturbate a lot is ok" or that "masturbate is a positive thing".
This is actually educational lol. But for fucking horny teens about their raging hormones.
Given our country's culture, we often don't talk about this shit in a school setting. Which is a bad thing IMO.
Good sex education will go long ways.
@Akikako She didn't advice "a lot" of masturbation. She did advice that he should cut back just because he was doing it "a lot".
What you might be thinking about is that she also did advice that he shouldn't try to achieve "zero masturbation"?
But that makes sense to me. Just like in dieting, setting impossible goals for yourself will only make you feel bad and possibly give up. Step by step wins the race.
And while masturbating "a lot" can cause you mental and social problems, going into "sage mode" every now and then is only good for you. XD
(Moderation is the key, as it often is.)
(Also, about the "food" comparison, look up "bulimia". People addicted to food can indeed eat constantly, even without looking like obese Americans.)
