this doesn't make any fucking sense i hope this mess of an arc is over next chapter or at least soon so we get this over with and go back to the fluff
 
For the record, literally nobody thinks the forced rival/drama improves this story. I really like this manga and have been reading for a long time, so I really really hope the author isn't taking this in a shitty direction
 
Wow, this is disappointing and frustrating... Arase's development is a bit weird but its to be expected, (just too sudden) this relationship is a big taboo in japan apparently

I hope they solve this with proper discussion, and not more drama.

BTW Does anyone know to what chapter the raws are? I can only found links to buy volumes online, but not the number of chapters
 
Well, this opens the door to many make-up hugs and make-up kisses.

I have to keep in mind the vast, vast differences between western and eastern sensibilities.

This 17 year old is off balance by the veiled threats delivered from a teacher that works side-by-side with the woman he loves.

It was a spot decision based on protecting her. I can totally "get" it although I think it may not have been a top tier choice. Given the choice of "breaking up" with her, or the vast unknown of what it means to have her life "ruined," he took one of two choices.

In my opinion, his biggest mistake is not involving her in the decision. Pushed this far they may have opted for something like changing regions, etc. So that's the part that hurts... so, his solo decision is what hurts.

The author most likely will go in that direction. It's a given; most people in Japan (the target audience being younger guys) seem to enjoy a bit of rivalry mixed with a little drama. Knowing how "original" most manga, manhua, and manhwa are, the author will do exactly what we don't want to happen.
 
culturally his decision makes a lot of sense. mess up once publicly in Japan, and you will never be able to outrun the shadow of that single mistake. in the west it's all just forgotten in a year at most and no one ever remembers it. this is to say that i agree with @Fujiwara_no_Sai , however I am a little peeved at how complex their username is.

this forced drama was really uneeded, this manga was already good enough just as fluff romance, just hope it will not stretch too much, anyway thx for the chapter
 
@WhiteEkans I do buy them! I convert them manually to something usable due to the way I do it though. It's kind of a pain to setup, but if you message me on discord I can show you. Also don't worry, I don't really care about snipes. I do this since I like Sensei. Also Arase is pretty hot too. And his sister is cute. God damn I like a lot of the characters.
