@ViEmlleSzDias In japan the age of adulthood is 20 (On January a 'Coming of Age ceremony' is held for everyone getting to that age). The age of adulthood was lowered in 2018 to be 18 but this won't come into place until 2022. So Sensei not wanting to date the student isn't just cause he's a student but also because he's a minor under Japanese civil law till he's 20. This isn't to say it's illegal once he's graduated but sensei probably has stringent morals like that.
