Sensei wa Koi wo Oshierarenai - Vol. 5 Ch. 28

@Darudius Not at all, Arase is jealous and asks her if she could refuse someone if they forced themselves on her, giving her a hickey. She tells him that she isn't resisting because her heart belongs only to him. No NTR or anything like that.

@mainimi

Oh great, thanks. Whats the point of bringing in the other guy then? Feels like his purpose would be NTR bait. Seems to happen a lot in these types of manga. Maybe this time it might be different? Oh well, we can only wait and see.

@Darudius I think author being the other guy cuz he/she can't improve story without this s*it/or maybe he want to mess with us. That always happens ıdk why but every single author loves this thing.

@Darudius believe it or not other men exist in the world. Just because another guy appears, even if he's a love rival (not yet in this case) that doesn't mean it's "NTR bait". If you don't like that kind of stuff don't read romance period, as it's a staple of the genre.

Also the point of his character is probably that he found out about the teacher/student romance.

It would be better off not including this kind of plotline in a purely fluff kind of story. I understand that it might seem unrealistic focusing on the two of them all throughout the story but the way the author inserts the other guy in the story is unsettling. I don't mind the NTR bait, authors seem to like that kind of storyline that I've grown tired of it.

@mainimi
This was a lighthearted manga, nothing but fluff.
I get why people are pissed.
All the tropes are there : blackmail hints, drinking, teasing, flirting and of course Arase sees his futur girlfriend smashed on the back of the new rival.

@Lugdu
It still is lighthearted. Y'all are torturing yourselves over nothing.
Until now the new character made Arase get bolder and that's it.
