Sensei's White Lie - Vol. 5 Ch. 25 - What Even Is Happiness? 2

so if I got this right: Sensei gonna fuck with male mc to try and see if he can fix her.

crazy girl with fucked up brother likes male MC (I think)

dude that likes to beat the shit out of people likes crazy girl

did I get it right?

@kronix
nope, sensei is just gonna use him for sex, cause she loves being a slut.
We dont have enough info on what the brother sister relationship is, but she feels kindred to the dude cause he got raped, meaning she might have been raped by her brother.

This new fad of manga that try to be mature and edgy via that author pretending the know what depression and victims of rape or what have you look like needs to die out. It's like everyone saw how good 3 Gatsu no Lion is doing and has attempt to recreate it's success and mutilated it.

Though I dislike what's his face, I'm glad that nasty little nameless prick got mauled by him. That incles bs is just as annoying.

@Yautja
It's good that you like 3 gatsu no lion but don't discredit other peoples' work just because your subjective taste is not met. And to insinuate the author pretends to know the emotions she is trying to express in the manga is just undeserved when you don't even know her background or why she began the manga. And this story is from 2013 and completed, if you didn't even check that.

@Yautja 3 Gatsu no Lion had almost nothing with either depression or rape rofl. Also calling the (attempted) blackmailer an "incel", what are you even doing bruh

@megagen, 3 Gatsu was released in 2007 and started receiving awards in 2011. I don't think I'm the one who didn't check. It has nothing to do with taste but failure of quality. There's a reason this manga lasted 50 chapters and receives extremely poor ratings. Regardless of her background, she portrays such things in an extremely superficial manner and certainly shows little to no understanding of them.

@BCS A major part of 3 Gatsu is depression and melancholy. You must not have paid very much attention or are aware of what depression is or can be if you think they're not. They're some of the most prominent categories and themes in the series. Rape and psychological abuse / harms are also pretty relevant. Refer to Kyoko, and Gotou. Did you not read or watch it? You're seriously saying that bitter little kid who was trying to blackmail a girl for sex while acting like he's a good guy and is going to protect her is not an incel? That's the hill you want to die on? I'd suggest reading up on the term.

@Kronix you got most of it right actually.

We don't know if Misato likes MC tho, like @boag she probably feels she has a conection with him, however i have another idea, she probably sees a naive guy she can manipulate to help her deal with her issues, which is why she is leading him into hooking up with sensei, so she can have some blackmail material.

We also don't know if Sensei likes MC or if she is just trying to use him as a tool to get over her relationship with rapeman, i don't think she is a slut, but she is definitively not that good of a person (not her fault tho).

I am inclined to think that it is mostly the second when it comes to sensei, because normally there are way too many factors that get in the way for a healthy relationship to form between 2 persons that are in different positions of power, and that have different range of experiences (age), to top it off both of them are mentally unstable, immature, and the adult one of the relationship in this case is inexperience as far as human relationships go, and to make it worse she has grown bitter due to being a rape victim, and while getting into a consensual relationship may be an starting point to help sensei to grow and become better, dating her student is a step backward, so all in all, i don't think she likes him, she is just going with the flow of someone who is there and shows interest on her without trying to be "forcefull" as an starting point for her first romantic relationship, which is already turning badly for all the aforementioned factors.

As for Misato's boyfriend, he doesn't likes to beat people up, he likes to show up which is different.

Also the part about getting a boner out of self fulfillment was all on Misato's head coming from her own twisted way of interpreting the world, she is probably the one that gets aroused on self-fulfillment which is why she likes to manipulate people.

Misato is one of the worst human being on this series, and she is so far manipulating MC, her boyfriend, her friends, sensei, and who knows who else.

@Doomroar
I think Senseis thoughts on the matter make it quite clear that, she doesnt think she deserves to be happy, I dont know what the official term is, but its a sort of victim shame syndrome, and she is definetly using him as an outlet because she actually enjoyed the sex.
As for Misato, youre probably right that shes manipulating this entire thing, but Im not sure shell use it for blackmail, I mean she was the one that pushed her friend to date the guy.

@boag The idea that oneself doesn't deserves to be happy is a common symptom of depression, and low self-esteem, it is a form of self sabotage, she probably feels guilty about enjoying sex and that's probably what fuels the idea.

Oh she will, she pushed her friend to date MC knowing full well that it would fail, and on the side she was talking to MC behind her friends back edging him to go after sensei, using her friend as an example of a normal relationship that wont work, she even took MC to her house just to reinforce this idea of women needing protection, so that MC would break with her friend faster and rush to sensei, when that was done, she set them up on the classroom with the fake letter to secure some evidence.

@boag oh please don't even joke on that, she and her brother already show that they don't come from a family that can integrate into society without fucking other people over, lets just end the cycle with their generation.

@boag I did some research into this a couple years ago and apparently it's somewhat normal for Sensei to be going through/doing what she's doing as a rape victim. The whole stockholm syndrome thing. Many rape victims blame themselves for being raped, and if it's happened to you over and over again you tend to get that stockholm syndrome. It's obviously played up more in the manga because drama, and it's a manga but it has the same ideas behind it.
