You know, I really don't believe he will do anything good. Clearly still a child. I'm glad the FL is still giving people a chance, it really reflects in her maturity that she wouldn't immediately discard her longest friend despite him being so cruel. I think she also understands the impact on him and choose to observe from 2 points of view (even if no one would blame her for only seeing it from her viewpoint). I hope he apologizes but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.

I also really like the dad. He is hard working and while disapproving isn't cruel and wouldn't do anything he couldn't/wouldn't have done himself. He definitely is the most "justified" adversary the relationship has dealt with. He could still disappoint but I have some high hopes for him considering this manga only has 4 chapters left.
