Chinchillas live mostly in treeless areas; nothing to swing from. She's probably a Binturong or something else from the civet family-- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binturong-- or else a cuscus or other possum-- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_cuscus. Pretty much all of those smell like ass, but I bet she's deodorizing herself for social reasons.
