That's what the original version says. It's つがい meaning couple, mate, pair. It usually refers to the animal couple.

I was someone who had faith that maybe the last arc was a long con start to a mystery but clearly they're playing that last arcs ending straight and we're getting maybe a couple more decent chapters of Jin coming to terms with his feelings towards lanka and then cue romantic resolution and ending.

Other than the fact that this manga's quality is declining sharply, I'm still interested for the final arc but christ is this filler making me want to forget this manga exists till it actually ends.
