Jin's recalcitrance in getting too close to his friends as animals makes a lot more sense in that perspective. Of course, this is a comedy series, so it's probably never going to be made an issue ever again...

This chapter reminds me of the film The Bucket List , a list of things to do before she "kicks the bucket" : skydiving , playing chess , practicing yoga , kayaking , watching the clouds ....
