I don't think Senko cursed him, now or in the past life. More likely she was with him back then too because this same problem was happening then. Might be a family thing or something to do with his soul having a special difference compared to the norm.

Hm, I'm trying it with my left hand right now and don't really see a problem. It's a little clumsier than right handed, but I could probably manage it if necessary. I do know of other things I can't do with the non-dominant hand, like finger snapping, though. That one I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't have trouble with, so maybe I just need to practice it some more.
