@welcome2atlantis I think it's both, where magic exists but her brother Greed is such a genius that he developed science all on his own within the prison. That, or one of the Sins was brought to this world from a modern one and with them they brought the idea of science that Greed then brought to life within this fantasy world(assuming it wasn't Greed himself that was transported to this world). Granted, I don't know for certain, but magic must surely exist if Demons exist. After all, the heroes had gone to subjugate the Demon Lord before their imprisonment if I remember correctly.

Mixing middle ages era with nowadays era is kinda... weird. You know, it's like those isekais that the setting looks completely European (the castles, kingdoms and the likes) and then you see the characters talking about onzen and how (japanese) hot springs are the best...

Girl get raised inside of a prison isolated from the rest of the world while being taught by the various members of the "hero"'s part and excell in it.
Girl get told by her mother to leave the isolated place and learn about the wide world and try to live as a "normal" girl.

That's basically the setting though I'm not sure if it is also an Isekai or not.
