Anyone think it's weird that the Shadows are not dispatched to stop this Clinger? I know they need to hide the existence of soot powers but the Clingers could have wipe out all the living dolls.

clingers have formed personality without a doll while shadows still needs to form personality with the doll. Maybe that's why clingers attack living dolls and invade them. They needed a host aka doll. If by chance a shadow appear next to a clinger they might have been absorbed in them instead? Unless a shadow has stronger personality and soot powers than the clinger?
