LN describes it better in that MC is in worse condition because had to drive the carriage herself and had to use all 20 silvers he gave her for food and shelter. Apparently it was an open secret that coachman had been sent to kill them. After all, coachmen are upper class servants in charge of driving the clans carriages and if few in number would be easy to tell that somebody new had been sent and implications.
What does it mean that Feng is the Left Prime Minister as opposed to the Right or something?
Btw, wouldn't be hard for Mr. Purple to spot her. She's the only one sticking up a bit from everyone else and also looking towards the carriage rather than planting her forehead in the ground like everyone else. After all, just looking at royalty without bowing far enough could be taken as disrespecting the imperial family and punished not only by the offender's death, but some or all of the offender's family or clan as well.
