Shi ni Modori, Subete wo Sukuu Tame ni Saikyou he to Itaru - Vol. 1 Ch. 6

You'd think 16 years reliving the past would make him realize that saving his village means he never meets Irene.

I can't help but seeing that concealed one to be like cu chulainn from F/SN. Is it just me?

look.Even the mom is smart enough to know they shouldn't sacrifice their life in vain

Knows about the attack, yet keeps it a secret? Who cares what they think when you can save them.

@Tearsax Tell them you saw demons talking about assault. Even if all people thought you were lying but they would still, for one day, keep watch and be alert and prepared for an assault. Especially given MC being trustworthy person in that village.

Look at our history. All you needed was one messenger to inform people about an attack and whole town would act as if it was truth (not knowing how it is, acting purely out of trust for that messenger)

So he’s KNOWN about the attack, but hasn’t been making any major preparations since he could?

Hmm... this is awkward... he has been getting stronger to prepare himself for the future but will not do anything else in order to defend the village from the attack? Does he expect to be able to save the entire village solo? Cuz one would think that if you know something is going to happen one could come up with strategies to prepare for it or prevent it... like... you know, traps? With the red bear event it should've set off some kind of mentality with the people in the village and caused some kind of warrior/hunter boom where people would be encouraged to train in that field to prepare for such unexpected situations that happened once in the past 20 years that could've threatened the village? Or was that even so insignificant and unimportant that it wasn't actually a big threat thus excusing 1 adult and 2 kids being able to deal with it with no harm or repercussion?

my problem is that he doesnt seem to consider that his perpetual hunting/training in the forest gonna lower the amount of monsters that are gonna attack them? or atleast consider why the attack happened? If next chapter he suddenly talks about this I call BS that's some last minute thinking he got there

Why the fuck has he not tried to evacuate the village? Like come up with any excuse, lie if you have to, lead something that is less of a threat but still enough to get them to consider moving people out of the village before the clusterfuck of death descends upon it. One being a little strong wont do shit against an army.

You literally fucking know a monster attack is going to happen, yet a wierd sensation in thr forest doednt immediately set off your alsrm bells

This is just my opinion, I don't know what the MC is really thinking but I think that he doesn't warn anyone else because he doesn't want any kind of unpredictable effects.
