"Having prepared just to lost it all anyway". Dude, this MC barely prepare for anything at all. He is stupid on par with most of isekai MC out there. Of all the things he could have done to save his village, he chose to build a wall surrounding it and go solo, exhausted and almost killed if not for his father joined in the fight.

Scathing, but accurate. This dude just trained himself, trained his childhood friend, built a wall. He had around a decade to prepare...
