Yeah MC is a dumbass. There’s no reason to not tell anyone of the preparations, and not get help when fighting the monsters. He doesn’t have to even tell the village the reason why he’s doing this, it’s all reasonable more or less.

Idiot makes a huge wall but no opening so let the whole demon horde swarm around instead of being funnelled through a narrow channel by just making a single opening in the wall.

And just 1 massive wall. Great idea, no contingencies for anything if something goes wrong.

No wonder idiot lost everybody in the last life, is being stupid a requirement for reincarnation.
From the start of this story felt like something was off. Now I know it was the idiotic MC, Heck anybody else in that village would have made a far better MC than stupid, stubborn and bird-brain Eric.

Ooh, nice, this was such a short chapter though XD?!
Manga is starting to get better overall I think, not sure if because it's getting shorter or trying to pull less of them writing skillfully scenarios, now it's just run with what's already been prepared for the plot! As for the character consistency, seems to be going well too, Eric isn't the smart kind so all his ideas seem to be well matched to his intelligence level, like his dad ! All muscle, no brain XD!

this could have been slightly harsher with a more realistic twist. it would have been perfect.
