She did but most people thought it was the restaurant because of the transition.
The burning building behind him in that picture looks like a generic jap house. There was even an old antenna on top.

It was too small and tall to be a family restaurant, not to mention the fact that our mc wants to be a hero of justice. I doubt she would burn the restaurant just for a customer.
