I would go for "I'm so nervous I could croak" for the frog pun on page 2, personally. Beats having no pun at all.

@trenslime a lot of the early chapters had the artist redrew the animal so the original translator could make a better pun, but I don't think they're doing that anymore. In fact, the マジマジアルマジロ "serious armadillo" pun on page 4 was also in the raw version chapter 2, but our English version has an eel instead for the "for real/for eel" pun

@Chrona for chapters 5-8 compare animals in the bambi scans version (uses the original) with the other version (new animals). If I were translating this (god knows I neither have the skill nor patience) I'd completely rewrite the puns so they make sense in English. Just google "armadillo puns" and pick anything that even somewhat fits the situation.
