The detectives don't suspect her btw. They probably think she's just a victim/witness much like the other ladies she helped. Her being nervous can be seen as her being scared from being so close to the murder (even though that's true but for different reasons). Plus, it's normal to feel nervous when dealing with law enforcement, whether you're innocent or guilty.
