at least it's not a case of robbery or something with visible weapon, which i understand anyone will hestitate doing anything about it

So I guess she didn't actually kill him, then? I don't think you say "if you keep that up, you will make lots of enemies" to someone you are about to kill, feels more like a threat. And last chapter was all about how they only kill if they have been hired. But the panels made it a bit ambiguous (or was it the translation?).
