Is this "Aoba City", with a "Mount Kabuto" to the north, fictional? Sendai and Yokohama each have an Aoba-ku, as a ward. There's a Mount Kabuto in Nishinomiya City, much to the west of Sendai and Yokohama. The scripts are different as well.

Great chapter with a interesting concept.

I find this concept pretty interesting. I see this concept a lot as well in manga that involves the supernatural, but only in Japan. The concept of willing things into existence when there's a lot of believers that think it's real. Like urban legends springing to life when it get's enough traction.

I think it's related to yokai folklore there where anything can spring to life given enough time or believers.
