As long as you want that cat to pay attention to you (and you want to cuddle/play) the cat will ignore you. But start ignoring that cat (like doing some work on your PC) and that cat is all over you. The fact that you were ALL-IN on both Miwako and Murase makes them NOT want to try and 'tame' you. There is NO CHALLENGE in them trying to get you to do EVERYTHING they want (since you'll do it anyway) ... but getting Hirota to do something which he obviously against is exciting for them.
