She had to get used to moving at a normal level. being in the dungeon she would be attack at every corner un able to do much. since she's not used to her body she will get her self hurt.

@Ringz, That's not a spear, that's just a pole. Think of Martial Art Staff. This way Iris have more freedom with how she attacks with it, it's also doesn't hinder her balance too much, compared to either Axe or Hammer where she needs to make sure it's the axe/hammerhead that hits the enemy and to keep watch of her balance so the weight of the head doesn't make her wobble after she swings it at full force.
