Aww shit, here we go again...aaand god fucking dammit. Why in the fucking hell can't these authors make a sound and reasonable excuse to have the MC be betrayed? IT'S SO NONSENSICAL! Their strongest fucking hero, they planned on betraying for the past 3 years. Which only really took 3 years because they faked a 3 year long relationship when I'm 100% fucking sure, regardless of character, it would have worked in the first year. Plus, the mans was so strong he scares the demon king. Why in the hell would you risk that? Now that he's gone, the demon king can just come out and wipe the floor, which I fucking hope he does. What's the real motive here? Why the fuck would they betray their strongest hero? To steal his fame? Was he too dangerous? I assume so, but they only vaguely imply all of it without proper reason. Especially the bitches' excuse as to why they'd betray him. Because they were ordered? What the fuck kind of mind control have they gone through, to follow a 3 year long plan that is both morally and strategically flawed.

I guess it was their own fault to try to pack the Betrayal into the first Chapter. Trying to bond characters to make the Betrayal feel all the worse just took its toll in this first chapter. They could have made it much smoother if they skipped to the teleport and brought out the Betrayal in later Chapters by Flashbacks. though those also have the tendencies to go overboard, i would have prefered it this way this time. The Art is fine, the Story nothing too new, the MC pretty owerpowered (though darkness seems to be able to do much more here, even earth magic) and the jealous parties involved too dumb to make for good revenge targets.

I guess the story will circle around the MC requiring his original powers to slay the monster, traveling the world, doing adventures, while still being known to public, picking up his waifu and possibly his harem members once again only to turn into a random OP mob. with the Demon King being described as is, i'm not sure what the author has planned for the finale.
