is it just me or has the art gotten worse? i don't remember the art looking like this, it almost feels as if it is a fan fic or something.
also i'm kind of surprised she went with Ran, i liked Gai better. I don't feel like they properly setup her relationship with Ran, they had all this chemistry and built up with Gai, then randomly Ran and her are into each other?

I definitely don't think Shio was really into it. She looked confused and shocked. If this is what Ran sees as "starting slow", hell knows what it means to "rush it". I think I might've rooted for the wrong person here...

I mean at this point idk, shio is fucked. Says she loves Gai then just goes with the flow with Ran and does this. Now I kinda hope everyone at sheep gets a happy end except her. Dont knowing that's fair to say but I honestly don't even know anymore... smh

@ElBichoRaro yeah what the hell was up with that? she says lets go slow when he tries to kiss her, then later he is taking off her pants and having sex. i was kind of surprised she didn't push him off.
Besides no excuse for shio, she's the one who went looking for ran in the middle of work.
But she'll soon be feeling remorse...Ran did a good job, he didn't waste any time ^^ he felt the danger when he met gai downstairs at shio's house... and he forced things a bit, but shio was weak and naive, I wonder how she'll react when she sees gai again.

only manga that I hate the mc
Def do not like Ran after this. He didn’t listen to her when she said she wanted to start slow. His smile also creeps me out. 
She should have pushed him away... if going slow was what she wanted. I can’t foresee them working out.
I ship Gai and the photographer girl now. XD Only reading for Gai’s arc.

Tbh yeah... even if Shio said she wanted to start slow. From how the pannels were drawn, it feels like Ran was silently waiting for her responses and reactions, she isnt even saying no or look away, or try to push him off. Idk I just cant blame Ran in this. Im already set on being pissed at Shio'e wishy washy atitude.

@remiska, Shio hadn't had a change of heart, she just didn't want to have sex with Ran after like a day of dating him, its a reasonable boundary and one that was disregarded bc apparently none of the sheep boys understand enthusiastic consent.
Anyway ppl rag on Shio for being unsure but shes actually in a p fragile place n thats basically a lot of what the manga dealt with initially, her not being over her husband deserting her, her resorting to staying busy to keep her loneliness and despair and confusion at bay, her looking for him in any potential partners. The manga is also p explicit abt her seeing the sheep as basically a safe space. it both keeps her busy and gives her a stable social circle. so her not immediately jumping into the arms of one of the sheep boys as soon as they express interest in her is basically her having a consistent character. like the romance feels sort of forced, honestly. Only Gai's arc, with him viewing his pursuit Shio as a means of escaping his brother's shadow, then losing interest as new opportunities to do so presented themselves, feels in line with the original themes of the manga. I have no idea why Ran is interested in Shio and no idea why Shio, at this stage in her character arc, would want him back. if anything this triangle subplot has significantly weakened the mangas writing, not bc its outlandish, but bc it wasn't built towards in a way which fleshed out Ran or lead to any degree of development for Shio. Basically it feels like this manga very subtly jumped the shark, trying to combine its slow pace but psychologically real style with romantic intrigue and failing both.

See I took it as Ran wanting to take it slow, maybe his desire to “make her his” kicked in. Guess we’ll find out next chapter about whether or not Shio was okay with how things turned out. The fact that they already had sex throws me off so much but this manga just does that... throws me off... I mean, it’s honestly more realistic though. I don’t think she would have went out in public afterwards if she had an issue with what happened. Plus in an adult relationship, people have sex pretty fast.
Well it just seems stupid and forced to be honest. She was just thinking about her feeling for Gai, but then decided to go with Ran and pretty much because she doesn't have feelings for him and can benefit from it with fixing sleeping problems. Maybe it would be better if she would resolve things with Gai before, because it seemed too forced just to push the plot- especially sex scene to be honest(sex scene for just sex scene sake at this point).
Also it goes against Ran character pretty much when he was helping Gai to realise his feelings, but also about him not wanting fake relationship and looking for something genuine- and well he just started something fake.
At this point Gai acted way more mature, because when he wasn't sure of his feelings he didn't forcefully push it further to prevent hurting someone.
I would be glad if someone can spoiler me the ending in private message.
I heart that this manga haves weak ending and honestly after recent chapters I wouldn't be surprise if Shio after bouncing between Ran and Gai will go back to her ex husband, because reasons...
