The difference here is I cared about Chito and Yuuri and their world and discoveries. If Shimegi and egg were to freeze to death this chapter it would have no impact because tkmz has failed to endear them to me.

I like the characters, there's a nice contrast between them. I don't get people complaining about things like this chapter in a slice of life type of manga. The whole point of a series like that is the interactions between the characters and the situations they get themselves in, so what's wrong?
