I remember reading a story a while back where the world's magic was actually a SQL query using various elevated user accounts to successfully execute the magic commands on the "system" that was presumably their world. Thought the idea was actually kind of wicked (come from a software engineering background myself)

To find this story I'm pretty pleased.

Aw, come on! It would've been so funny and cool if a baby killed the dude. I also dislike these types of things. This is a medieval and fantasy world. Killing people like this shouldn't even be an issue. Honestly, the brother is just ruining her future and making it wore for her. She's gonna have to kill at some point. But so far, this is one of those stories, where everything seems to be fixed by being kind.

@sovietweeb it's more like one of those cliches/tropes/ whatever you call it where an "innocent" character is about to kill a person in order to protect, however is held back by another character to prevent said "innocence" from being ruined.
