@Lux, it's already been said why she became preggo, so they wouldn't feed Zeke to her as soon as he got on the island (it's in the begginning of ch.108 too, how they don't want to kill Historia's baby so they delayed feeding Zeke to her, they also complained about the convenient timing of the pregnancy).. Eren's partially doing this to stop Historia from becoming a titan anyways.

@T_Starrk But Yelena and the volunteers already had the poisoned wine as a trump card whenever the island government decided to take dangerous actions, as they did when they decided to feed Eren to someone else. They didn't need the pregnancy to secure Zeke and Historia. And in fact when Yelena reveals her plan in chapter 116 she says: "luckily Historia has been blessed with a heir" she says it like it wasn't something they planned.

Maybe it was as another precaution for Historia, maybe not... but i doubt Eren with his future knowledge didn't know of the poisoned wine plan. And there is also the matter this chapter didn't answer to of what convinced Historia to not snitch on Eren, which might also be related to the pregnancy.

@Lux, yeah they had it as a trump card but they still didn't want him the chance of them attempting it immediately (especially with Levi on his ass and not everyone ingesting the wine). Also, did you read their conversation? It's implied Eren convinced her to stay quiet with his, "Yes you can, because you're still 'the worst girl in the world', who saved me". The very next line were given of their convo was "What if I have a child?" which is Historia coming up with a way to further insure the plan. Idk man, that's just how I read it.
