Honestly? The way I see it, the other side would probably be so belligerent and unaccepting towards a female soldier, that not only would she not get any work, they'd push her off to the kingdom's side either way.
We already saw what happened when the empire's tally point tried to "collect payment" from her. High-way robbery, and very plausible rape attempts all around. I just can't see Olivia getting a foothold in empire territory.
