it's funny, i happened to start reading this just as i finished utawarerumono 3. mc does something similar, but takes it much more seriously than the mc of this manga. It's more that he's going 'what would the guy I'm supposed to be do/act like' and simply imitates the imagined smoothness.
@nobaka Both of the main characters' actions should be different anyways, Haku needs to become exactly like the guy(won't mention his name cuz spoiler) as too many people had had close interaction with him before, while Kai here only needs to keep the name, as the people who are close to Grey already know that he is dead. And what would be the point of trying to imitate Grey's action when their appearance are not the same anyways?
yeah you're totally right. I had literally just started this tho, so for a second I was like 'did they steal this from uta???? Is this just a thing in jp??'
but yeah, it's harder for haku since everyone knows the dude. In this, people just know that 'Grey Enfield' is a badass, but know literally nothing else about him, even his appearance.
