Otherwise this is pretty damn good plot wise for a titty sucking isekai.

I disagree completely.
There are tons of good people in that world. The young prince he works for is considerate of his circumstances, and the young men in his batallion are also decent human beings.

What you see as generic nice-guy syndrome is the ability of someone to stay kind and sympathetic in a military environment surrounded by death. There's a reason he's the only one who can say these things in the story even if the story has a bunch of decent men.

Even if you're right. It's probably never going to not tick me off. It's the basic formula of every harem. Not that the MC shouldn't be nice but does she need to fall in love with him so quickly... or, well, fall in love at all? Cause that's surely what will happen.
