Eh. Too many things happening. Feels like it should be epic, but it isn't.
Grey's death was not...as moving as it should've been, imo. Then, the scar?
At the end, the narrator is supposed to do an epic foreshadowing, but I feel it's confusing. "Grey" the War-god is obviously Kai pretending to be Grey. And the story of "Grey" was told by Kai, of whom the only record was that he wore a mask to hide a scar (seriously, was it THAT bad?). And "Grey"'s story began in that fight.
Except "Grey" wore a mask, so in the chronicles everyone should know it was Kai.
Meh.
