Man... I only started reading this because of Wakui Ken's Tokyo Revengers.
I thought Revengers was good, until it became a bit too shonen cliche for me near the end...
But this - this goddamn manga... is SO GOOD!
Holy crap I don't remember the last time I was this invested in a story that once I was caught up with the TL, I looked for a raw manga site to finish off the rest of the series.
Extremely underrated, exciting and hella addicting story!
It almost feels like Toyko Revengers is the story of when the bad boys were kids, and Shinjuku Swan is the story of when the bad boys grow into adults.
I would highly recommend this to a mature audience that wants to learn about the nightlife culture of Japan

Reminds me of the loan shark manga. But much lighter with funny bits. Still super dark though.

I just read all the scanlated chapters.
Something went wrong starting from the Yokohama arc. It's like they kept skipping chapters or plot points. Perhaps the author was always in threat of cancellation?
Too bad. I like the earlier chapters.
