How did they even get the horedeers to breed without dying? I'm still wondering this. Is it because its a breed that doesn't exist in nature much like the liger. Meaning its sterile and therefore can't make a second generation of its kind. So, that means they just breed horses and deers in a environment controlled by the hands of man. Someone tell me is my conjecture close. What do you think?

Maybe, the stress of human contact causes "capture myopathy" (the sheer stress results in critical muscle failure and ultimately death).

Capture myopathy is a real thing that occurs in animals like deers, which is why animal rescuers recommend that you DO NOT touch or pet injured animals especially deer and wait for the professionals.
The stress of the injury, in conjunction with human presence and contact, can cause animals to stop struggling to survive; they give up and go to sleep, forever.
Wildlife workers like WildLife Aid (awesome wholesome channel, go watch it if you're an animal lover) try their best to fix them up and get them back into the wild ASAP in order to reduce the risk of capture myopathy.
