Oof, looks like this is a bulk upload for a series that got dropped a bit short of completion 8 years ago? Looks like there's an anime too that might help cover that though.

Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker is the prologue to Peacemaker Kurogane.

To clarify with previous two comments: This manga (Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker) is the completed prequel to Peacemaker Kurogane (ongoing).

The confusion comes from the anime title-- the anime Peacemaker Kurogane (also complete) follows this manga Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker, not the sequel series that it shares its name with.

This series has a bit of slapstick humor that takes a while to settle in, but is one of the most historically compliant series I've read with genuinely likeable potrayals of the characters! Hope that helps!
