wow, this raw quality is really horrible. Like, so bad i almost want azuki to wait for the volume to come out so I don't have gouge my eyes out.

@Jaegrqualm lol I was wondering if someone'd complain. strangely enough the last chapter was done using the chapter published on matogrosso too... so I'm guessing that was eye-gougingly bad too?

edit: Also for whatever reason the next chapter's link is messed up, so the next chapter might come out from pixiv, which 10x worse better than the matogrosso one.

edit edit: I found the missing matogrosso chapter through the power of the Internet. But now I have to re-clean the six pages I already had done... ?

@red_bean_casserole Chapter 25 somehow seems genuinely better. However, it seems to be largely to do with the subject matter, since it had a lot less detail in general compared to all the small dot and line patterns this chapter.
These kinds of raws have always been upscaled with waifu2x, and it's terribly obvious. Most* close patterns look terrible when upscaled this way. I've always wondered if scaling it back down somewhat would have helped, but I've never bothered to try.

@Jaegrqualm yup - I had those same concerns regarding the screentones when I waifu2x-d these - it does well with maintaining lines, but not so much screentones (esp. small line patterns). haven't looked into which of the models does best either (and I don't know if I want to try training one just for the sake of this).

Tbh I don't think that was a delivery. The setup, the look and style of the person outside the door, and the reactions all imply it was a circular notice, i.e. a neighbor dropping by with a "pass this on" message for the tenants.

@NinkNikkita According to another ghost manga I read, in Japan dolls become cursed when they are neglected. So hiding one in a bathroom cubbyhole is a good way to get an angry doll, while taking care of it and playing with it will placate the doll.
