Judging from Amai's comments at the end of the chapter, her mother might not be around anymore...
I somehow both love and hate how the manga drops these hints to the backstories of the characters without making them the focus of a chapter. :)

@pip25 Unfortunately the way the two remaining chapters are going there won't be any more diving into that. There is a lot to dig into, like what Sensei was like in his high school days or why Amai likes older men so much. But Nakatoka-sensei's already made the choice to not do that, so we'll have to leave it to our imaginations.

This was the most interesting chapter so far, finally seem some of the psycology behind the characters and how they’re changing.
