@KN-XIII I'd say a lot of dogs are actually prone to jealousy. Depending on which of the two human party members the dog gets attached to, the other might become a "rival" for their attention. This could cause the dog to act aggressively towards one of them, or just as clingy as the white mage. Maybe both.
