The world building of this series is really a clusterfuck, when he first arrived it gave the impression of a somewhat renaissance era period, then with the war with magic-russia it moved to a sort of world war 2 period, now they show us those arcade games which makes me feel like the author doesn't know fuck-all what he wants this world to be like.

@Leo80221 well in my opinion it’s all the same whether you call them wives or fiances, what makes this confusing was that in the LN he had sexual relations with most of them and it was clear to the reader the relationship these women had with the MC while the manga makes it very ambiguous

Meriela is suppoisedly the main girl and best girl but this story made her get cucked by that bish Riede (not that I blamed her 100%) and didn't even show her kiss Lect like....at all...
Lect, despite being a great king and what not....I really dislike his...lack of resistance towards this whole harem shit, such a half-assed man....I mean thats his character after all but fucking hell he annoys the crap out of me and the fact that he made Meriela fucking depressed and barely made up for that...like all he did was nothing significant, just sweet words...sweet, half-baked words. Even if he meant them, they're just words....

dammit, alas I wish I could just drop this when Lect went and sleep with Reide but I couldn't leave it after reading everything through...it's truly a pain.
I honestly wish Meriela would do more than simply....be mad....damn, she saved his life, formed a...life contract with him selflessly and even got her hand cut off trying to defend him....what did the Reide bitch ever do but moan about how her father became a hero and shit....damn
