I'm gonna let this bear pun slide, because 1) he is a bear, 2) it's not implausible for him to be aware of the pedobear meme, because it's technically borrowing a Japanese character called "Kumā", and Japanese Wikipedia's article on said character does recognize the mutation of the character's meaning outside Japan, and 3) it's not shoehorned, unlike the vast majority of bear puns in previous chapters. Credit where it's due, you've managed to insert a bear pun in the right place for once.
