Shishunki Bitter Change - Vol. 9 Ch. 58.1 - Fireworks

At this point i'm just hoping for it to not end like webcomic. Not that it was bad - it took body swap trope seriously and was very unapologetic about it, but why tell same story twice?

...that being said, this chapter's change in character's interpersonal dynamic felt unnatural. Maybe it will be explained in the future - narration here is highly introvertive after all.

As usual, thanks for the update.

can someone summarize what the fuck is going on? i pretty much skipped every couple chapters because I could not believe how long it took for body to get back together.

Do the main characters not like each other? do they like people of the same gender? what the hell is going on?

damn...wow the feels

@kronix so basically they switched bodies and what ends up happening through a fuck ton of misunderstandings and the age old 'Lets not talk about it and sort shit out" before both characters realize who 'they' are and what they mean to each other. Yui has a thing for that one homie who's name i forget but ends up realizing that she likes Yuuta (or doesn't want to hurt him) where Yuuta is in a wild 'oh shit i'm female' situation where that other homie from the ramen shop feels some type of way for him but it aint like that for Yuuta because he likes Yui.

Let's hope Yuuta doesn't ruin it in the following chapter.

Mangaka had a verrry easy 10-20 chapter drama route that could've been taken here. I just can't stand half of the stuff in this series. Lot's of 'not talking to each other' scenarios going on for no real reason. They're all supposed to be best friends and half the stuff they're not talking about isn't even that bad to warrant the way they're acting. Yuuta has been a role model in the series where the other two characters have done next to nothing helpful in terms of overall everything.

Kazuma found some book and has hidden it from his friends twice like the shitter he is. Kazuma then secretly takes Yui out on a date and asks her to choose him. Kazuma also pretends to offer advice by mentally thinking "realize it Yuuta!" like his thoughts will suddenly be transferred to his friend. He then also likes to coddle Yui whenever Yuuta criticizes her actions allowing him to more-or-less be the sugar daddy of the situation, making Yui think more of him and less of Yuuta.

Get hit by the isekai bus Kazuma.

Thank you choosing not to hurt him, Yui.
I'm glad she's really thinking about Yuuta's feelings.

I'm patiently waiting for Yuuta's confession.

also, dem kazuma

@shoker

^ This really made me crack up
This is so funny because it's true

Sometimes it feels like they forget that they can communicate with each other

@shoker

I agree. Kazuma is a manipulative selfish sack of crap, that is not to be trusted and should be thrown out like the garbage "friend" he is.

I'm glad that yui still thinks of yuta. But I really don't like the 180° turn, the last of us 2 style of realization just because of a fireworks. Like the dude below says
why the suddenly disappeared crush
That or I'm just a stinky poo poo brain who can't understand a woman's feeling.
