Oh god, the suspense... please be a happy ending!
I don't know how it'd work. I've seen the warning signs. I'm not even sure what a happy end could BE.
But PLEASE find a happy end!
@JaneJeon I thought of that. I'm personally rooting for the "Disney princess" ending.
But let's be realistic here, at this point they've been swapped longer than they were in the original bodies, and it was during a far more important time of their life. It'd be REALLY hard to drop in and reclaim that life now, they would lose the life they've built in the interim, and handwaving the issue away would feel cheap. (Yes, I'm the jerk that sees an ugly darkness in Back to the Future's "happy" ending.)
Admittedly, being a couple would smooth some of those wrinkles. Together they wouldn't have to stumble through being complete strangers around their friends and families, they'd have someone to guide them through the surprises their new bodies have for them, et cetera.
But I think it's all going to end in tears. And it's going to hurt when it does.
Some time ago I saw some spoilers from the original webcomic but don't know for sure if they're true and if this manga will have the same developments and ending.
Soon...
Even if they did swap back to their own bodies, at this point it wouldn't really work as an "ending" for me since the story would have to show them spending effort in readapting back to their own bodies for me to accept it.
I totally agree with@Me, they both grown in each others body and went through all the changes the other person would have went through but didn't, They also made friends in their personalities with other people so, it would be really awkward and kinda very cringe if they went back.
I think the happy ending should be they actual become a couple and get married and have children, and not switch back and live there life from that, but still enjoy it because they will be together.
And i really hate kazuma, was never the friend to Yui (Yuuta), only Yuuta (Yui), Thats what hurt me the most!
