I didn't want Yui to commit suicide, but that didn't mean I wanted the manga to just forget about resolving all the issues of gender dysphoria, familial dissonance, jealousy, etc. that they both dealt with (and probably will continue to deal with for the rest of their lives now). At the point where the manga ended, the logical progression should have still been the webcomic's ending or something similarly tragic, because other than the bandaid of ~their love~, they're still stuck in the wrong bodies and still identify as the opposite gender.
