I feel like Senku is just bleh. Not flawed enough and he needs to encounter major setbacks.

The real question is: does Senku have an answer to the mod problem?

Covering the process of him stroking his ten billion inch dick every time would probably take literal volumes. It only focuses on the specifics of his sciency buildy projects in the beginning to introduce his big brain and flex the author's irl science connections. The main points of each build are laid out though. But going into it too much would be akin to something like

a ten chapter arc in AOT showing how Grisha and Carla get to know each other over the years or some shit (i.e. dragging the story out).

And yes, Senku just called and said the solution to the mod problem is to make me one.
