Is this re-translated from the mangaka's English or is it the mangaka's actual work?

Since whoever did the Japanese version couldn't redraw these parts, I suspect the English one is the actual raw.

1st, "like a comic"... it IS a comic...

2nd, manga technically counts as a comic as well, just a Japanese one

3rd, just say it's a "read from left to right" and leave it like that...
