The spell mind-engraving process looks like how I imagine Rene Descartes' assumption that all humans are by default in a state of oneirataxia must be like: Your dreaming self loads and unloads skill-based memories at a whim, and you have full faculties within the dream in the context of these... context-specific memories, but as soon as you exit the dream, the skill-memories disappear, only to reappear should you revisit the dream.
I want those workbenches... I REALLY want them... and that warehouse... and that leveled compacted dirt floor....

This is life now. You want to look sexy for the ladies. You want to have healing magic when you get hurt, because it's actually real. I mean sure... I doubt his cheat abilities of being able to use any/all skills will disappear, but then why even bother job change?
Play as priest, learn attack magic and sword skills.
100x Exp ring? Yeah beyond stupid but it's the sort of thing that games actually put into play, due to new players wanting to play new content with old players. So at least it's not unreasonable.
