This is fun and all, but I’m a little annoyed at the overdone aphrodisiac and instant harem trope. It’d be a different story if Touya actually looked at them like that, but here it’s just being forced down his throat just cuz the girls are okay with the rapey situation. The drug was not necessary and is just a plot device to skip any actual development.

this seems to happen quite a lot in manga, so I understand the confusion

Overall though, since they didn't specify they just slept naked; they most likely would specify if that were the case, I do think your assertion of what occurred is accurate.
